Description: Sea World Resort and Water Park is a 4-minute walk from the beach. Located on Broadwater, linked by monorail to Sea World and only 15 minutes’ walk from the popular Surfers Paradise and Marina Mirage Shopping area, this 4.5-star hotel boasts a 50 m lagoon pool and waterfall as well as an aquatic playground and 12-seater hot tub.

Rooms at Sea World Resort are spacious and boast a contemporary décor. Each room is fitted with a balcony or patio which offers views of either the broadwater, pool or surrounding gardens. Guests enjoy free WiFi in all areas of the resort, as well as free wired internet in their room.

Guests at Sea World Resort have unlimited access to the Water Play aqua playground in the main pool area. Other activities include the SpongeBob SplashBash and evening light show. The resort is surrounded by beaches and public beaches are accessible within a 2-minute walk.

At the resort’s award-winning restaurant, Hatsuhana, guests can enjoy Japanese cuisine cooked Tepinyaka-style from fresh seafood and ingredients. We stayed here for the Gold Coast Marathon. It was the perfect location. The staff were friendly and very helpful in giving information on road closures etc
The kid friendly environment was a stand out and the cleaning, maintenance and restaurant staff were so friendly!! Especially Shelby she was great! Food was filling and some great lunch deals. The views of the GC were also beautiful. Really Easy access to Sea World. Light show was also good for the little ones. Not so much the teenagers.

Minuses:
bathroom small, needed work and food was ok for 4-5 star. most staff need to smile
I wish checkout had been at 11 and the breakfast buffet open until 10 so we could have come back after our run and had a shower and something to eat. There were no car parks left which meant we had to park out on the street and walk in. I know this is nothing you had any control over but still disappointing.

The faulty shower was a real let down but staff did offer a room move and $50 credit for the trouble. it wasn’t worth the extra time and effort to move for two nights. It was hard to navigate around the resort. Finding the laundry was especially harder than it needed to be. Maybe better signage for directions around the resort as it’s rather big. Also reception gets so busy and if your calling from your room you can be left on hold for a long time. In my case nearly 30 mins.
